On Monday, Kevin heard me talk about the five strategies of C.H.A.I.R.℠ Leadership during the virtual Dream. Believe. Create. Career and Business Summit. And it changed him.
He was faced with a tough situation this week – he was doubted, questioned as not being good enough, and almost walked away. At that moment, he knew he had a choice: F.E.A.R. – Face Everything and Run OR Face Everything and Rise.
He heard me say you have to champion yourself if you want to show up differently.
And he did! He overcame his fear and championed himself (the “C” in C.H.A.I.R.).
He rose to meet the moment explaining why this person needed him and his expertise, and that in fact, he is more than good enough. He was willing to walk away rather than compromise his value.
